ALOHA and E KOMO MAI to “Living The Aloha Life” with Wayde & Mike!
We are FINALLY STOKED to be back on the air and doing what we love most…Sharing our love for Hawaii with all of you! Being our FIRST PODCAST we’ll be discussing the MEANING of our Podcast and what ALOHA truly means. Living the ALOHA LIFE means many things in Hawaii, but it can mean something to anyone who doesn’t live in Hawaii as well. You don’t need to live in Hawaii to live the “ALOHA LIFE”. Living the Aloha Life is a “STATE OF MIND” and you can live that life where ever you are! Everyone knows the basic meaning of ALOHA…it’s foundation is LOVE, but it also is a word used when expressing hello or goodbye.
There are 3 things we think of when expressing ALOHA: The Aloha Spirit – The Way of Aloha – Living the Aloha Life
It’s essential when LIVING ALOHA that one must attempt to live in the present moment and meditate into aloha…love.
So…WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY is ALOHA?
WHO is you, I, us…WHAT is the conscious creation of our Reality…WHEN is now, the present moment, the only moment we truly have…WHERE is in nature an our surroundings…WHY is because we have been placed here to cherish, protect, love and take care of this being we live on…Our mother Earth. THAT is ALOHA…THAT is LIVING THE ALOHA LIFE.
Below are our TOP 5 THINGS to LIVE ALOHA.
- LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT (THE NOW)
- LIVE ALOHA AINA, invest in your time with nature and the earth and give back to it.
- MAKE MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS with like minded positive people.
- CHOOSE TO SEE THE GOOD in the WORLD and put your ENERGY THERE.
- ALOHA ALWAYS those you come in contact with… Show them KINDNESS, show them COMPASSION, show them RESPECT, and show them LOVE.
Live your life in this way and you will not only LIVE THE ALOHA LIFE, you’ll spread a little aloha where ever you go.
This was a very informative commentary. Good to listen to something that once was home (when I lived on Oahu). Cheers from Boston! – Fil
